What information we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us, or basic usage data that helps the site work. This includes:
- Contact details you submit through our contact form, such as your name, company, phone number and email address.
- If you register for training: your name, email, WhatsApp number, the training you chose, your preferred days and anything you tell us about what you want to learn. We use these to agree your training date and to email your personal class code.
- The content of messages you send us on WhatsApp or by email.
- Details you enter into our assessments, calculators and tools, which can include your name, company and phone number.
- Anonymous analytics and cookie data about how the site is used, such as pages viewed and general location, collected through Google Analytics 4.
Why we collect it
We collect this information so we can respond to you and improve our service. We do not collect personal data we do not need, and we do not sell your data to anyone.
How we use your information
- To respond to enquiries and answer your questions.
- To prepare assessments, quotations and reports you have asked for.
- To follow up on a conversation or project you have started with us.
- To arrange training you registered for and send you your class code and joining details.
- To understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure how the site is used in an anonymous, aggregated way. This helps us see which content is useful and where the site can be improved. For full details on the cookies we use and how to control them, see our Cookie Information page.
Forms and WhatsApp
Our website does not run a form database of its own. When you use the contact form or a WhatsApp link, your message reaches us as a normal message. WhatsApp messages are delivered and stored through WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta. We keep these conversations only for as long as we need them to help you.
Third-party services
We rely on a small number of trusted third-party services to run the site and communicate with you. Each processes limited data for a specific purpose:
- Google Analytics - anonymous website usage measurement.
- Vercel - hosting and delivery of the website.
- WhatsApp (Meta) - messaging when you contact us on WhatsApp.
- Resend - sending emails, such as replies and notifications.
These providers process data under their own privacy terms. We share only what is needed for each service to work.
Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the enquiry or relationship it relates to, and for any period required by law. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.
Your rights under the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019
Under the DPA 2019, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete.
- Ask us to delete your personal data where there is no lawful reason to keep it.
