The problems we solve

What gets in the way for Farms & Agribusiness.

Crop losses from late decisions

By the time pest damage or disease is visible, yield is already gone. Late harvest timing, over- or under-fertilising, and missed weather windows cost Kenyan farmers an estimated 20–40% of potential yield every season.

No visibility on what price the market will pay

Selling at the wrong time means giving away margin. Most farmers sell when they harvest, not when prices peak - because there's no tool telling them what the market will bear next month.

Cold chain losses nobody can see until it's too late

Temperature excursions, delay bottlenecks and uneven load balancing eat into margins invisibly. By the time produce reaches Mombasa Road or the export pack-house, the damage is done.

Route and delivery costs that don't have to be that high

Fuel, driver time and last-mile delivery to collection centres or buyers eat into every kilo you sell. Most routes are planned by habit, not by data.

No digital presence to reach buyers beyond the local market

Processors, exporters and supermarket buyers search online first. A farm or co-op without a web presence is invisible to anyone outside its immediate geography.

What we build for Farms & Agribusiness

Tools and training, built around you.

Yield & harvest forecasting

Predict likely yield 4–8 weeks out using your farm's own data, local weather feeds and crop models. Know what to expect before the market does.

Pest & disease early-warning

Catch issues before they spread. Alert systems that watch your crop data and regional outbreak records - and notify you by WhatsApp when action is needed.

Demand & price forecasting

Know when prices for your crop historically peak, and see what signals suggest about the coming season. Sell at the right time, not just when you happen to harvest.

Cold-chain intelligence

Track temperature, delay and load across your cold chain. Spot the bottlenecks and excursions that are silently cutting into your margins.

Route & logistics optimisation

Cut fuel and driver costs on collection and delivery runs. We model your actual routes, volumes and stops - not a generic logistics template.

Agribusiness website

A fast, professional website that lets processors, exporters and buyers find you - and see what you produce, your certifications and how to reach you.

Local context

Why a Kenyan team matters for agribusiness

Agriculture in Kenya is not a generic problem. The tools need to know the reality.

  • We know KTDA tea and coffee co-op payment structures - and how to build forecasting tools that map onto them.
  • We work with county-specific weather and soil variation, not generic sub-Saharan Africa averages.
  • M-Pesa payment flows and USSD-compatible outputs for field staff who don't always have smartphones.
  • We understand the seasonal rhythms of long-rains / short-rains planning cycles and build tools that respect them.
  • Nairobi office - come in, or we come to you. No offshore support desk.

Common questions

Plain answers.

Do these tools work without reliable internet in the field?
Yes - we design for Kenyan connectivity. Field tools work offline and sync when a connection is available. WhatsApp alerts use SMS as a fallback for areas with data but no stable broadband.
We're a co-op with 3,000 smallholder members. Can this scale?
Co-ops are one of our primary targets. We build tools that work at the co-op level - aggregate data from members, give the secretariat visibility across the whole network, and surface alerts per zone.
What does it cost?
Every tool is scoped to your actual situation - there's no shelf price because we don't sell shelf products. Book a free consultation and we'll give you a clear quote within 48 hours.
Do you integrate with existing farm management software?
Where software exists, yes. Most Kenyan farms and co-ops don't have formal software yet - we build clean, practical tools from scratch around what you actually have: spreadsheets, WhatsApp groups, manual records.
