AI consulting

AI consulting for Kenyan organisations.

Honest, vendor-neutral AI consulting for businesses, schools and public bodies across Kenya. We listen to how your organisation actually works, find where AI genuinely pays for itself, and give you a roadmap you can act on - whether you build with us or not.

The work

What does an AI consultant actually do?

Four things, in plain terms. Most engagements start with an AI Business Assessment - a structured version of the first two.

Opportunity assessment

We sit with your team, walk through how work actually gets done, and identify where AI can save real money or real hours. No theory, no tool demos - a clear list of what is worth doing and what is not.

AI strategy and roadmap

A written plan that ranks opportunities by cost, effort and payback, sequenced so quick wins fund the bigger moves. You know what to do first, what to defer, and why.

Vendor-neutral tool selection

We do not resell software, so we have no reason to push one tool over another. We compare the real options against your budget and your team, and recommend what fits - including free tools when they do the job.

Implementation oversight

If you already have developers or a vendor, we oversee the build so it stays on scope and on budget. If you do not, we build it ourselves. Either way, someone who understands both the tech and your business is accountable.

The process

How does an AI consulting engagement work?

Four steps, always in this order. Where the roadmap calls for automation we deliver it through our AI automation work, and where it calls for new systems we build them as custom software. If your team needs to run things themselves, we pair the engagement with practical AI training.

Listen

We start with a conversation, not a pitch. You tell us how the business runs, where the friction is, and what you have already tried. We ask questions until we understand it properly.

Diagnose

We map your processes and find where AI genuinely helps - and where it does not. You get an honest read, including the parts where the answer is "leave this alone."

Roadmap

You receive a written plan: what to do, in what order, what each step should cost, and what it should return. It is yours to keep whether or not you build with us.

Build or hand over

We can build the roadmap ourselves, oversee your vendor, or train your team to run it. Whichever route you choose, you are never locked in to us.

Common questions

How much does AI consulting cost in Kenya?
The first consultation is free. From there, a free AI Business Assessment is the usual starting point, and implementation work is scoped after that. Every engagement is priced on the scope and complexity of the work and quoted in writing before you commit - we do not guess prices, and neither should you.
How long does an AI consulting engagement take?
An assessment and roadmap typically takes one to three weeks depending on the size of the organisation. Implementation runs to its own schedule - a WhatsApp automation can be live in days, a full business system takes weeks. The roadmap tells you the timeline before you commit to anything.
Do we need technical staff to work with you?
No. Most of our clients have no technical team at all. We explain everything in plain language, we handle the technical work, and if you want your own people to run things afterwards we train them. If you do have developers, we work alongside them.
What do we actually walk away with?
At minimum: a written assessment of where AI helps your business, a ranked roadmap with honest cost estimates, and a clear recommendation on tools. If we implement, you also get working systems, trained staff, and documentation. Nothing we produce is locked to us.
