Moro Hub Launches e-Invoicing Solution as UAE Prepares for 2027 Mandate
Moro Hub launches e-invoicing solution to boost compliance, efficiency and trust in digital transactions, enabling Kenyan businesses to streamline invoicing.
Moro Hub, a subsidiary of Digital DEWA, has launched an e‑Invoicing solution that lets government and private‑sector organisations create, manage, validate and exchange structured electronic invoices in a secure, compliant and scalable digital environment.
What this means for Kenyan businesses
Companies should consider reviewing their invoice workflow and explore cloud‑based e‑invoicing modules that support digital signatures and real‑time status tracking.
The UAE’s e‑Invoicing framework is entering a phased rollout. Organisations with annual revenues above AED 50 million must appoint an accredited service provider by 30 October 2026, and full implementation is required from 1 January 2027. Moro Hub’s platform offers features such as real‑time status and confirmation tracking, high‑volume transaction processing, and 24 × 7 secure infrastructure. The solution also integrates with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, including strong SAP delivery capabilities, while remaining agnostic to non‑SAP environments.
Moro Hub emphasizes that its platform runs on “green data centres” in the UAE, guaranteeing data sovereignty and aligning with the country’s ambition to build a resilient digital economy. By hosting invoices on Moro Cloud, the service promises compliance with the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) validation rules and secure electronic exchange through the Peppol network.
The launch aligns with the UAE Ministry of Finance’s broader vision of a transparent, integrated digital financial ecosystem. A pilot phase for the e‑Invoicing solution is set to begin in July 2026, giving early adopters a chance to test the system before mandatory rollout.
Businesses should audit their current invoicing processes, identify gaps against the PINT‑AE and Peppol standards, and engage with technology partners that can provide a compliant, secure cloud environment.
